Saturday, March 1st from 9am – 12pm
We are pleased to be hosting a terrific tree workshop and giveaway being offered by our partners at Trees for Houston here at the Nature Discovery Center.
There will be age appropriate educational programs for kids and adults, and Trees for Houston will be providing participants with native shade trees in 3 and 5-gallon pots.
Schedule of Activities:
9:00 – 10:00am – Adult Education Session – including tree ID
10:00 – 10:30am – Tree pick up at front of center
10:30 – 11:30am – Children’s Education Session – including a craft & tree education for kids
11:30 – 12:00pm – Tree pick up in front of center
Cost: FREE, but advance registration is required so that we can get a head/tree count.
