Here at the Nature Discovery Center we are involved in citizen science and crowdsourcing projects, and we’d love for you to join us and/or follow along. Here are a couple sites where you can find reports of species observed in our nature park.

eBird
 – the world’s largest biodiversity-related citizen science project, with more than 100M bird sightings contributed yearly by birders around the world. Mary Ann updates our eBird sightings with each of her bird walks in the park.

iNaturalist – puts “nature at your fingertips” with crowdsource identifications, species records, access to naturalist experts and more. You can view Russ Pirman Park species observations here.
