This year’s theme, Where Wonder Takes Wing, celebrates the spirit of curiosity, discovery, and connection to nature that has inspired generations of children and families. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening featuring dinner, dancing, and entertainment by Password, while learning how their generosity helps sustain the Nature Discovery Center’s impactful programs. By the end of the evening, attendees will know that their support directly fuels nature-based education, environmental stewardship, and meaningful experiences that inspire wonder in children and families every day.

About the Nature Discovery Center
Tucked within Bellaire’s beloved Russ Pitman Park, the Nature Discovery Center is a treasured community resource where children, families, and adults experience the wonders of the natural world through hands-on learning and outdoor exploration. Founded by passionate volunteers in 1979, the Center has grown from a historic home and four-acre nature preserve into a vibrant environmental education destination serving more than 20,000 visitors annually.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to ignite lifelong curiosity, understanding, and respect for nature through education.
Through school field trips, summer camps, family programs, community events, and wildlife experiences, we inspire children to ask questions, explore their surroundings, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the environment.
