Thrush Hollow has long been one of the favorite places that birders visit in our park looking for birds during the spring and fall migration seasons. This deciduous woodland area has diverse, thick vegetation that provides shade, ample cover and safe places for birds to rest or hide. Thrush Hollow also contains a variety of food resources (insects, nuts, berries, etc.) and access to nearby water sources like Rebecca Fountain just to the south east, and Terrell Springs, the waterfall just to the south of Thrush Hollow near the Prairie Wetland.
