Henning is a Houston transplant with 7 years in our city and a dual US-German citizenship. Born and raised in Germany, and with half a decade of living and working experience in Japan, he has a strong affinity to our natural environment and exploration, which he is actively instilling in his two – 4 and 2 year old – daughters with his wife Christie. Henning is an avid traveler and hiker – having walked the Way of St. James between Portugal, Spain, and France, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and Mt. Fuji in Japan twice – and is keen to strengthen his personal connection with nature in Houston, something that aligns well with our organization’s mission and beliefs.
