How can I sign up to volunteer?
Sign up through our website Volunteer Page using our Better Impact volunteer software. If you can not do that or have trouble doing that, please email DeAndra Ramsey directly.
I’m dropping off and picking up a volunteer for their shift. Where do I drop them off and pick them up?
The easiest place to drop off and pick up volunteers will be the Evergreen pool parking lot. Volunteers can simply follow the Center Path up to the House to check in with DeAndra.
Where do volunteers park?
Side street parking in the neighborhood. Please be mindful not to block driveways.
Where do we check in upon arrival?
You will check in with DeAndra in the upstairs of the Henshaw House.
What should volunteers wear?
Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting sweaty and dirty in! Your clothes must be family friendly and school appropriate.
What should we bring with us?
Bring your reusable water bottles and a snack! I would leave your valuables at home. Don’t bring laptops, jewelry, etc. that you care deeply about. Please be aware that we expect you to ONLY use your phones in case of an emergency during your shift or to coordinate pick-up with a ride if you have one at the end of your shift.
