Your birthday child and up to 14 of their guests will have an enchanting time as they explore our nature park on a fairy themed scavenger hunt for fairy doors, flying fairies, and other fairy signs. Following the hunt we’ll return to the Pavilion Patio where they will tinker with one of the following fairy themed crafts: decorating fairy doors and windows or decorating fairy houses to take home. While the paint is drying on their fairy themed creations, we’ll enjoy an animal encounter with one of the following NDC Animal Ambassadors: our bunny, one of our Three Toed Box Turtles, or our Lesser Hedgehog Tenrec. Or, if your fairy loving party kiddo is so inclined, a Gulf Coast Toad.
Pavilion decor to help set an enchanted fairyland mood is available on loan for your party upon request. This includes: artificial Spanish moss, artificial floral swag garlands, fairy light strands, and giant flowers. You will be responsible for putting up and removing all party decorations (whether ours on loan or your own).
Ages: These parties are most appropriate for kids ages 4 and up. Close parent supervision will be key during the scavenger hunt and craft portions of the party.

Select Sundays during one of the following Birthday Party slots
- 9:30 am – 12: 30 pm Party Slot – 10:30 am fairy themed activities, you fill the time remaining until 12 noon
- 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Party Slot – 1:30 pm fairy themed activities, you fill the time remaining until 3 pm
- 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm Party Slot – 4:30 pm fairy themed activities, you fill the remaining time until 6 pm
Note that our Enchanted Fairyland party activities begin 30 minutes into your party time slot so that allows time for all guests to arrive and participate. You’ll want to encourage your guests to arrive on time and allow time to parking so as not to miss a minute of party fun! If you need an arrival activity to keep kids busy until everyone arrives and our activities begin, we can set up a simple nature fairy wand creation station, or you can plan your own arrival activity.
The actual length of the activities will depend upon the interest and participation levels of your specific party guests, but they could last from 45 minutes up to 1 hour.
All parties must be booked/paid in full at least 2 weeks in advance of the party date.

We recommend that you do not plan to have a bounce house or other party games at your Enchanted Fairyland Birthday, as there won’t be enough time for these extra activities when you consider the activities we have planned, and time for cake or other treats and opening presents.
The craft portion of this party will involve the use of acrylic paints. Paint smocks will be provided to help protect the kids clothes. But please do warn your party guest parents that these paints are not “washable” like tempera paint. The paint will come off hands with warm soap and water, but it will stain clothes. Acrylic paints dry fairly quickly, especially if they are used sparingly, but we will have a hairdryer and fans available to help reduce craft drying time. Crafts will be taken home by your guests on a paper plate.
