💦a refillable water bottle is essential so you can stay hydrated. Note, however, that Local child entrepreneurs, LL Cool Kids🍋, will be on site selling refreshing drinks in the parking lot – they take Zelle, Venmo, Apple Wallet and💵cash. Their drinks are $3 for 12 oz. and $4 for 16 oz. These young entrepreneurs are learning financial literacy and how to run a business through Lemonade Day Houston. Stop by their stand in the south parking lot right next to the playground for a refreshing beverage during Mud Day!

👕Wear: Comfortable clothes appropriate for an all-ages audience that you do not mind getting muddy, wet, or splattered with washable paint. Kids may prefer to be in bathing suits and washable slip off shoes. 🚽Restrooms: Please encourage your kids to go before you come. The closest option during the event is a porta potty across Evergreen Street by the pool. There are also outdoor park restrooms at the north end of the park by the Pavilions, one of which has a diaper changing station. 🧼Hosing Down, Washing Up, and Changing Clothes: We will have a wash-up area with two hoses at the south end of the park in Shady Glade, just across the center path from the main Mud Day activities. To alleviate congestion, we will also have a wash up area at the north end of the park on the front lawn. In addition to the hose down areas, there is a large trough sink outside the park restrooms at the north end of the park for washing up. Kids and adults are welcome to change clothes in the park restrooms. Please remember to bring a towel to dry off after the hose down. 🔎Visiting the Discovery Rooms: Our Discovery Rooms will be open until 3pm. If you plan to visit the rooms after Mud Day to see our ambassador animals, please note that you and your kids must have already washed up and dried off before you enter the Center building. Thank you for helping us keep the Center clean and safe! 🌳Visit Us at the NDC Enchanted Woods Table: We are excited to share that the Enchanted Woods Nature Play Space & Cottage Classroom Capital Campaign has reached 80% of our $2.5 million goal.
