NDC PARKING LOTS – The Nature Discovery Center has two small parking lots (one at the north end and one at the south end of Russ Pitman Park) that can fill quickly. During events, the north lot is reserved for staff, volunteers, vendors, and handicapped visitors. Our guests will need to look for additional parking. (click map for larger version)
EVERGREEN POOL LOT – When Evergreen Pool is not open, our guests are welcome to use the pool parking lot on the other side of Evergreen Street for overflow parking.
SIDE STREETS – Side street parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood on the east side of Newcastle across from Russ Pitman Park and west of Newcastle if you head north and south of the park. If you choose to park on a side street, please be respectful of our neighbors and do not block their driveways. Use caution when crossing Newcastle and Evergreen. A protected crossing is available at the Newcastle/Evergreen light.
