Junior Scientists is geared toward elementary aged kids, as are our Spring Break Camps and Summer Science Camps.
Classes and Camps
The Center offers engaging science and nature themed school-year classes for preschool and elementary aged children, as well as fun and educational seasonal day and week-long camps during school holidays and summer break. We also offer classes for homeschool groups upon request. Classes at the Center are filled with hands-on experiences with natural objects including live animals, natural history specimens, and items found in our nature park. They often include outdoor investigations in addition to indoor lessons, as well as a mix of crafts and games.
