Can’t bring your class or library audience to the Nature Discovery Center? Bring the Center to your classroom, library, or students learning at home with themed, virtual Wildlife Programs To Go! These video programs by our Head Naturalist and Educator, Eric Duran, are enriched with specimens and live animals, allowing children to learn about groups of organisms without having to go anywhere.
Each Wildlife Program is approximately 45 minutes long. However, you may choose to extend your experience with optional add-ons, like a pre-scheduled Live Zoom Q & A session with Eric, or themed crafts and activities (see below for details).

Optional Program Add-Ons
Interactive Zoom Session (30 minutes) – At the time of booking, you may pre-schedule a Q & A Zoom Session for your class or library audience with Eric Duran, Head Naturalist and Educator, as a follow up to watching your chosen Wildlife Program. Participants will have an opportunity to ask Eric questions about the live animals and specimens they observed in the video or about the group of animals covered in general. These Q & A sessions must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance. Zoom Sessions may be scheduled Tuesday through Friday with start times between 10 am and 2 pm, and are subject to Eric’s availability.
Themed Craft and Activity – For each of our themed Wildlife Programs To Go, we have paired a simple craft and an activity that can be completed by students at school or at home. Printable craft pieces and activity instructions will be emailed to you as downloadable PDF files. Some crafts may require additional pieces like paper plates, brown paper lunch sacks, or toilet paper tubes. Whether at home or at school, students should have glue, tape, scissors, and crayons or markers available to them if they are needed.

Basic Wildlife Program To Go Cost: $50/class*
Add-on Zoom Session with a Naturalist: $50/class* (scheduled in advance with Eric)
Add-on Themed Craft & Activity: $20 (unlimited use)
* We understand that your classes may be mixed and that you may be sharing this program with learners in a classroom setting and/or learners at home.
Booking and Payment Details
Click the button below to book your Wildlife Program To Go. Our online booking system will generate an invoice for your school or library. We intend to send out your unique video links as well as your printable PDF investigation sheet one week before your program month begins, but note that we can not send out these links until your invoice is PAID IN FULL, so please plan ahead and get those payments in as soon as you can. Links and downloadable PDFs are for use by your school and are not to be shared. Zoom Session links, meeting IDs, and passwords will also be sent one week in advance of your pre-scheduled Zoom Sessions assuming your invoice has been paid.
Important note: Program video links change monthly, expiring on the last day of each month. At the time of purchase, you will be asked to indicate which month you are requesting a link for. Links can not be renewed or extended beyond their expiration dates.
